The Hidden Premiere

My Role

My role in The Hidden was costume designer. It was difficult to plan all the outfits in advance due to filming dates being moved around so I did not have the ability to plan in advance as much as I would have liked. it was also kind of difficult to come up with a variety of costumes that weren't boring and repetitive. I learned that it was important to communicate with the actors in advance and have good communication with the director so we are on the same page for the vibe of it. I think my work was alright, it didn't make much of an impact because it was everyday clothes. I have used my time 75/100 productively. Sometimes I would work on graphic/photoshop projects in my free time or client work. I watch movies and a variety of shows outside of class. I think I am decent at time management and leadership. I complete most of my projects on time and can lead a project/group when necessary. I could improve on my collaboration with others especially with talking to new people.

The Premier

I enjoyed spending time with everyone at the premier and the restaurant. If we did the premier differently I think everyone driving to a restaurant to meet instead of limos. While it made the night special, I just don't like Hummers because they are a waste to the environment. Once again I have realized the importance of starting way before and planning far in advance. I think next year juniors and seniors should be mixed and/or do more projects together so people can form more bonds.
